Copy trading with TradingView

TradingView is a charting and trading platform, and many futures traders chart on it. This page explains what TradingView does and does not do for copying trades between your own accounts, and where Lucid Terminal’s Copy Trader fits. Lucid Terminal is not affiliated with or endorsed by TradingView.

At a glance

What TradingView does

Charting, alerts and trading from the chart through integrated brokers, including Tradovate. It does not describe a built-in account-to-account copier.

What Lucid Terminal does

A Copy Trader that mirrors a leader account to follower accounts you own at the broker. It does not read TradingView alerts or Pine strategies.

The honest limit

We have not certified Lucid Terminal with TradingView. If you place orders from TradingView, test the setup on demo accounts first.

Using TradingView and Lucid Terminal together

The Lucid Terminal Copy Trader follows what happens on the leader account at the broker, not where an order was entered. In principle, an order you place on that account from any platform shows up as account activity and can be mirrored.

We have not certified this with TradingView and have no partnership with it. Test on demo accounts, and read both your broker’s and your prop firm’s rules first.
