About Lucid Terminal

Built by traders, for traders.

Lucid Terminal exists because the gap between "I made 37 trades this month" and "here's exactly which setups made me money and which ones didn't" is where most retail traders die. We closed that gap with an obsessive focus on self-directed futures traders.

Our mission

Give self-directed futures traders the same quality of tooling institutional desks take for granted — but on a retail budget and with an Obsidian-first, ownership-first workflow. Your trade data belongs to you. Your analytics should live where you already think (not on some SaaS provider's dashboard you'll lose access to when they change pricing). Your strategies should be automated when you want them to be, and compliance with your prop firm's rules is a decision you make, not one we make for you.

The story

Lucid Terminal started in 2025 as a personal tool — a multi-broker dashboard to track evaluation and funded accounts across three prop firms simultaneously. The first version was a weekend Electron project. By early 2026 it had grown into a full Obsidian integration with automated journaling, custom indicator overlays, a curated in-house strategy library, and a Lucid data pool that surfaces the strategies that actually work.

We build in public, iterate fast, and prioritize the traders who've already put money on the line — not the gurus who promise riches. Our early users are prop firm traders, TradingView power users, and developers building their own bots. That's the community.
