Free-tier users contribute anonymized, aggregated trade metadata (symbol, fills, P&L, session) to the Lucid data pool. This is how we're able to keep a powerful dashboard free. Individual trades are never exposed to other users — only aggregate patterns flow into the Lucid data pool. The contribution is disclosed in the Terms of Service at signup. Paid tiers get a data-pool opt-out toggle.

Yes — Lucid Terminal supports bot automation on every connected personal or prop firm account. Some firms have their own rules restricting automation on evaluation and funded accounts. That's between you and your firm. When you enable bots on an account from a firm with those rules, Lucid shows you a clear acknowledgment: you accept full responsibility for any action the firm takes against you, and Lucid bears no liability. The tool is yours; how you use it is your call.

Cancel any time from Settings. You keep full access until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account drops to the Free tier — all your journal notes, analytics history, and broker connections remain. Bot subscriptions stop. Data-pool opt-out reverts to on. No reactivation fee if you come back.

Not at launch — but the Free tier is a permanent trial for the core product (journaling + analytics). When paid tiers go live, we'll likely offer a 14-day trial on Pro. Follow our changelog or subscribe to the Notify Me list on this page and we'll email when paid tiers are available.

All purchases (subscriptions and Lifetime) are final 30 days after payment. Before 30 days, email support@lucidterminal.io and we'll refund no questions asked. Lifetime refunds beyond 30 days are case-by-case — generally yes, with a small administrative fee, if you genuinely can't use the product.

Yes. Upgrading prorates the difference immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no refund for time already paid at the higher tier, but you won't be charged again at the higher rate.

No — it complements it. Keep using TradingView, NinjaTrader, or whatever you already chart with. Lucid handles the post-trade side: journaling, analytics, bot automation (on allowed firms), and the data-pool corpus. We don't provide live market data, quotes, or DOM.
