Before you upgrade — the honest answers.

The Windows and Mac desktop app and the web terminal with the whole terminal: dashboard, charts, trade log, analytics and your vault; standard trading data; unlimited futures broker logins (stock and options brokers start on Pro); CSV import and export; Obsidian and Git journaling. The mobile app is coming soon. When Algorithmic Bots launch, Free includes 3 bots, 1 formation and the bot sandbox as a launch offer; the Copy Trader starts on Pro. No card required.

The Copy Trader is on Pro and every higher plan; on Free it shows an upgrade card. Algorithmic Bots are in final testing and not available yet. When they launch, Free includes 3 bots and 1 formation as a launch offer, and the paid plans run them 24/7 on Lucid servers (Pro 10, Elite 25, Lab 50, Lifetime 100+). The free-bot launch offer can end with notice; if it does, Free bots are paused, never deleted. Features marked Soon are not part of a subscription until they are released.

A formation groups at least 2 bots — across several symbols — behind one switch, with formation-level risk limits, so a set of strategies runs together. Free includes 1 during the launch offer; Pro includes 2, Elite 5, Lab 10, and Lifetime 30. Yes, they count: each formation counts toward your formation limit, and the bots inside it count toward your plan’s bot limit.

Yearly billing, when it’s offered on this page, gives you 2 months free on Pro, Elite and Lab: you pay for 10 months and get 12. The FOUNDED40 code takes 40% off every renewal, monthly or yearly, and comes off the one-time price on Lifetime. Your 40% founder discount stays for as long as you keep paying — including when you upgrade to a higher plan or switch between monthly and yearly billing. Downgrading to a lower plan, cancelling or a lapsed payment ends it (before you confirm a downgrade we show the regular price you’ll pay). If you come back later you get whatever promo is running then, or the regular price. It’s capped to the first 50 paying founder members: once those places fill, no new redemptions, but existing ones keep their 40%. After that, new members get FOUNDED30 — 30% off for as long as you stay subscribed. Codes never stack — one code per subscription. An affiliate code works only after the founder places fill: it takes 30% off for as long as you stay subscribed (Lifetime: 30% off once) and replaces the current code; you pick one.

Free accounts contribute anonymized, aggregated trade statistics (such as symbol, fills, P&L, and session) to the Lucid data pool. That’s part of how Free stays free, and it’s disclosed in the Terms of Service at signup. Individual trades are never shown to other users — only aggregate statistics. Contributors get Data Clocking in return: it compares every data point of the trades you choose with the anonymized pool for the same market and shows which sessions and setups to focus on or avoid, suggested exits and recommended risk caps — basic on Free (session, direction, size and caps), full on paid plans. Pool statistics only count when at least 20 traders are behind them, and clocking describes the past; it does not predict results.

On any paid plan, yes — switch off Aggregated data pool in Settings → Privacy & Data. Your bots keep running; Data Clocking then uses only your own trades, without the pool’s statistics. Free accounts can’t opt out — contributing is how Free stays free. On any plan you can ask us to delete your identifiable contributed data from the same panel.

On futures accounts, yes — Lucid Terminal supports bot automation on every connected Tradovate or Tradovate-backed prop firm account. Stock and options accounts connected through the broker sign-in portal are view-and-close only: you can close positions and cancel orders, but Lucid Terminal never places opening stock or options orders. Some firms have their own rules restricting automation on evaluation and funded accounts. That's between you and your firm. When you connect an account from a firm with those rules, Lucid shows you a clear acknowledgment: you accept full responsibility for any action the firm takes against you, and Lucid bears no liability. The tool is yours; how you use it is your call.

Yes, on the web today; the phone app is coming soon. The desktop terminal for Windows 10/11 and macOS 12 or later (Apple Silicon and Intel) has everything, from the download page. The web terminal at lucidterminal.io/app is for analysing and deploying. One account, one plan, the same brokers and trade log everywhere.

Yes, any time. When you cancel a monthly or yearly plan you keep its features until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your account moves to Free — your terminal layout, trade journal, and your Obsidian or Git files stay yours. Refunds: all sales are final 30 days after payment; before that, email support@lucidterminal.io for a no-questions-asked refund (see the Terms of Service).
