Our mission

Give self-directed traders — futures, stocks, and options — the kind of tooling trading desks take for granted, on a retail budget and with an ownership-first workflow. Your trade data belongs to you, so your journal lives in your own Obsidian vault or Git repository, not only on our servers. Your strategies should be automated when you want them to be, and how you follow your prop firm’s rules is your decision, not ours.

What Lucid Terminal is today

A desktop app for Windows and macOS. You connect Tradovate and Tradovate-backed prop firm accounts through our NinjaTrader vendor integration, and stock and options brokers through a secure broker sign-in portal — or import any other broker by CSV. From there you get a live terminal, one trade journal across every broker, analytics, a P&L calendar, charts, automatic journaling to Obsidian or Git, and bots that run on your computer.

The story

Lucid Entities LLC was formed in July 2024. Lucid Terminal started in 2025 as a personal tool — a multi-broker terminal to track evaluation and funded accounts across several prop firms at once. The first version was a weekend Electron project. It has since grown into a full desktop app with automated journaling to Obsidian and Git, custom indicator overlays, a curated in-house strategy library, stock and options broker connections, and a Lucid data pool that powers Data Clocking — it compares every data point of the trades you choose with the anonymized pool and shows which sessions and setups to focus on or avoid, suggested exits and recommended risk caps.

We iterate fast, ship updates often, and build for traders who put their own money on the line — prop firm traders, stock and options traders, and people who build their own bots. Not for gurus who promise riches.

What we won’t do

• Sell your personal information or your identifiable trade data — to anyone, ever
• Touch your money — your funds stay at your broker; we never deposit, withdraw or move money for you
• Trade without your say-so — a bot only runs after you deploy it, every bot trade carries a stop, and the Kill Switch halts everything
• Copy other people’s trades into your account or sell trade signals — Copy Trader only links accounts you trade yourself
• Give financial advice or promise profits — trading involves substantial risk, and past or backtested results don’t guarantee future results
• Hold your journal hostage — it lives in your own Obsidian vault or Git repo, and the Trade Log exports to CSV
